Blues Artist Sonny Landreth to Perform Special Summer Concert

The Lively Arts at IUP will present Sonny Landreth as a special community summer event. Performing an evocative and vibrant mixture of southwest Louisiana blues, the concert will be presented on May 31, 2013.

Stamp’s “Divertimento for Trombone and Band” Premiered by the U.S. Army Band

The work by Jack Stamp, Department of Music, was commissioned by 14 schools across the country and will receive its Pennsylvania premiere on May 4, 2013, with the IUP Wind Ensemble and Christian Dickinson as soloist.
