Beijing Conservatory Conductor to Lead IUP Bands

The Lively Arts at IUP will present Sirius/XM Satellite Radio personality Seth Rudetsky as part of its Ideas and Issues series. Talking about his favorite subject—Broadway—Rudetseky will speak on Monday, May 6, 2013.

Blues Artist Sonny Landreth to Perform Special Summer Concert

The Lively Arts at IUP will present Sonny Landreth as a special community summer event. Performing an evocative and vibrant mixture of southwest Louisiana blues, the concert will be presented on May 31, 2013.

Recital to Feature Students, Faculty Members, and Guest Artist Performing Chopin

IUP piano students, faculty members, and guest artist David Allen Wehr from Duquesne University will perform Saturday, March 19, 2011, at 3:00 p.m. in Gorell Hall. The recital is part of the Chopin Bicentennial Festival.

Jennings to Perform with Gamelan Ensemble in Maine

Dr. Linda Jennings, an assistant professor of Music at IUP, will be the featured solo cellist in a performance of the Concerto for Violin, Cello, and Javanese Gamelan on March 12, 2011.
