The Lively Arts at Indiana University of Pennsylvania will present the Pittsburgh Symphony Chamber Orchestra and a variety of IUP faculty members and students performing in a concert that is both unique and impressive. The concert will be presented on Friday, March 26, 2010, at 8:00 p.m. in Fisher Auditorium of IUP’s Performing Arts Center.

The string program of the IUP Music Department will present a concert on Tuesday, March 30, 2010, to benefit music education programs in the aftermath of the earthquake in Haiti. The concert will begin at 8:00 p.m. in Gorell Rectial Hall, located on the 2nd floor of IUP's John Sutton Hall. In addition to various faculty and ensembles, the concert will feature Fabienne Fanord, a Haitian cellest and music educator for Port au Prince, currently a visiting scholar this semester at IUP (pictured at right).
