Department of Economics faculty members Dr. Jack Julian and Dr. David Yerger, along with former student Ms. C. Elizabeth Hall (Duke Law School), had their article “Estimating Core Unemployable And Workforce Non-Participants: A Study of Pennsylvania’s Labor Force” published in the February 2010 issue of the Journal of Business and Economics Research.

Dr. Yaya Sissoko of the Department of Economics presented a research paper entitled “Current Account Sustainability in African Communities: Are there Regional Differences,” coauthored with Niloufer Sohrabji, at the thirty-sixth Eastern Economic Association (EEA) annual conference held in Philadelphia February 26–28, 2010.
