President Tony Atwater offers condolences on the untimely death of IUP freshman Brenton Croll, 18, Roaring Springs, a nursing major, who died March 18, 2009, in a friend’s on-campus residence hall room. The Indiana County coroner is working to determine the cause of death.

President Atwater will be a guest on Renda Broadcasting’s Indiana in the Morning show on March 31. Dr. Atwater will talk with Bill Otto, the program host, at 8:45 a.m.

Indiana University of Pennsylvania will honor three regional achievers on April 4 at the IUP Legacy Gala in Pittsburgh. The gala will be hosted by IUP President Tony Atwater and his wife, Dr. Beverly Roberts-Atwater, at the Carnegie Museum Music Hall Foyer.
