Richburg Awarded Funds Through College Technology Initiative

Cynthia McCormick Richburg, Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology program, received an award through the Technology College Initiative to obtain equipment to perform auditory evoked potentials, otoacoustic emission testing, and sound-level readings.

Glor-Scheib and Students Update Curriculum Teacher’s Guide

Susan Glor-Scheib, Special Education and Clinical Services, headed up a major revision of the activities sections in the Teacher’s Guide for the Life Centered Education Curriculum and Assessment System, published by the Council for Exceptional Children.

Speech Pathology Student Group Raising Funds for Family Facing Lung Cancer

The mother of Anne Popovich, an alumnus of Special Education and Clinical Services, is fighting lung cancer. The IUP Chapter of the National Student Speech-Language-Hearing Association will be selling flowers for Valentine’s Day this week to help raise funds for treatment.
