Stocker’s Manuscript on Optimal Goodness-of-Fit Tests for Recurrent Event Data Accepted for Publication

Dr. Russell Stocker and Dr. Akim Adekpedjou had their manuscript “Optimal Goodness-of-Fit Tests for Recurrent Event Data,” recently accepted for publication in the journal Lifetime Data Analysis.

Colen to Teach Summer C-MITES Courses

Applying to Graduate School and Preparation for Mathematics Entry-Level Positions

Dr. Yu-Ju Kuo, Mathematics Department, will present an information session for mathematics students on applying to graduate schools and on exams and certificates that might be useful in obtaining entry-level positions in sciences and mathematics.

Additional Funding Received for S-COAM Grant

Drs. Yu-Ju Kuo and Rick Adkins, Mathematics Department, received $449,866 from the National Science Foundation for two additional years for their Scholarships–Creating Opportunities for Applying Mathematics (S-COAM) grant project.

Colen Speaks on “Standards Aligned System for Higher Education Faculty”
