President Tony Atwater will present the 2009 President’s Medal of Distinction for Professional Achievement to Nancy J. Newkerk, a former IUP administrator, at the annual Leader’s Circle event on March 19.

IUP has created a new scholarship to assist current IUP students in funding overseas educational experiences.

IUP’s Music Theater and Theater-by-the-Grove will present “Anything Goes” in the Performing Arts Center’s Fisher Auditorium from February 18–20 at 7:00 p.m. and February 21 at 2:00 p.m.

Two IUP professional music fraternities, Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia and Sigma Alpha Iota, raised $355 for the Alice Paul House, a shelter for survivors of domestic violence.
