IUP will host a Special Olympics Pennsylvania Multi-Sport Training School on Sunday, March 21, 2009, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in Zink Hall.

Registration is still ongoing for the spring 2009 IUP Special Needs Activity Program (SNAP), which offers physical fitness, motor development, and aquatics activities for individuals with disabilities.

Kenneth Midgett, a Health and Physical Education major, received the Outstanding Future Professional Award at the 2008 annual convention of the Pennsylvania State Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance.
