Eleven of the twelve recipients of the 2008-09 IUP Undergraduate Research Awards are students in the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics.

Jamie Houseknecht from the Penn State Center for Nanotechnology Education and Utilization will present a seminar on how to get Nanotechnology Track Options in your undergraduate degree from the College of Natureal Sciences and Mathematics at IUP on Friday, February 20, at 2:30 in Weyandt Hall, room 331.

Students who use technology at home, at school, or in their classes can submit a proposal to present at the Student Technology Forum of the Consortium for Computing in Undergraduate Education to be held at Edinboro University on March 20, 2009.

A free GRE Prep Session will be held on Tuesday, February 24, 2009, 6:30–8:30 p.m. in Weyandt Hall, Room 32.

All of the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics science education programs have just received full national recognition from the National Science Teacher Education Association.
