U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics Projects Strong Job Growth for Anthropologists and Archaeologists

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics recently listed anthropology and archaeology as having faster than average job growth in the coming years and as being fields where employees make better than average salaries. It is a good time to be an anthropologist!

Anthropology Graduate Student Jaillet Receives Jelks Award

Angela Jaillet, graduate student in the M.A. in Applied Archaeology program, was one of two students nationwide recently awarded the Ed and Judy Jelks Student Travel Award by the Society for Historical Archaeology.
