Reminder: Action Required for Moodle 1.9 Users

Faculty currently using the current IUP instance of Moodle are reminded that they must take action by March 15, 2013.

Desire2Learn Version 10 Demo Sessions Announced

To assist faculty in preparing for Desire2Learn version 10, demo sessions will be offered by the IT Support Center, in partnership with the colleges.

D2L Biannual Upgrade and Planned Outage on December 15

The biannual Desire2Learn (D2L) upgrade is scheduled to occur on Saturday, December 15, 2012, from 12:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time. During the upgrade period, D2L will not be available.

New Landline Telephone Contract: Cost Savings and New Voicemail System

IT Services announces that IUP’s low-cost landline phone service will provide an additional 25–30 percent discount. As part of this cost-saving initiative, IUP’s current voicemail system will be replaced in stages from November 28 through December 14, 2012.
