Blues Artist Sonny Landreth to Perform Special Summer Concert

The Lively Arts at IUP will present Sonny Landreth as a special community summer event. Performing an evocative and vibrant mixture of southwest Louisiana blues, the concert will be presented on May 31, 2013.

Wong Doe Awarded Senate Grant for Solo Recording

Dr. Henry Wong Doe, assistant professor of piano in the Depeartment of Music, recently received a University Senate Research Committee Award to record a debut disc of piano works by New Zealand composer Gareth Farr.

Antonacos Plays Chopin for Maine Polish Heritage Society

Dr. Anastasia Antonacos, a member of the IUP piano faculty in the Department of Music, was invited to perform in an all-Chopin concert on November 20, 2010, presented by the Polish community of Maine.
