All members of the IUP community are invited to attend the public meeting of the IUP Council of Trustees, IUP's principal governing body, on Friday, December 5, at 1:30 p.m. in Gorell Recital Hall.

President Atwater asks that members of the IUP community join in offering condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of Pennsylvania Lt. Gov. Catherine Baker Knoll.

Applications are being accepted for the student seat on the university’s Council of Trustees. Interested students are encouraged to attend the Council of Trustees meeting December 5 at 1:30 p.m. in Gorell Recital Hall, John Sutton Hall. Please note that the application deadline of 5:00 p.m. December 8, 2008, has passed.

The university will break ground for the Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex on Thursday, November 13, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. at the construction site along Wayne Avenue. Trolley service to the event will be available from several campus locations.

Takes place Tuesday, December 2, at 4:45 p.m. on the East Porch of John Sutton Hall. All are welcome!
