Several undergraduate and graduate students as well as faculty members made the trip to Philadelphia to attend. Four undergraduate and graduate students were chosen to participate as volunteers during the event.

Members of SAND, the Student Association of Nutrition and Dietetics, participated in the Grocers Fight Cancer event on October 4, 2012, at the Giant Eagle in Indiana.
