Cannon, Sophomore in Special Education, Receives Frank Bolden Scholarship

Sophomore Suzannah Victoria Cannon from Pittsburgh, a major in the Department of Special Education and Clinical Services, has been selected to receive one of only six prestigious Frank Bolden Scholarships awarded annually to individuals who demonstrate a commitment to early childhood education and to children with special needs.

Comm Media Students Win Silver and Bronze Telly Awards

A group of Indiana University of Pennsylvania students working with the IUP-TV television station were recently notified that they won a 2009 Silver Telly Award for their short film Fish Eyes. A second group working as part of their Comm Media 481 course also won a Bronze Award.
