Beijing Conservatory Conductor to Lead IUP Bands

Blues Artist Sonny Landreth to Perform Special Summer Concert

The Lively Arts at IUP will present Sonny Landreth as a special community summer event. Performing an evocative and vibrant mixture of southwest Louisiana blues, the concert will be presented on May 31, 2013.

IUP String Project Accepting Applications for Spring Semester

The IUP String Project, a community music education outreach program for children ages five to eighteen in Indiana and the surrounding area, is accepting applications for private lesson instruction on violin, viola, cello, and bass. Applications are due January 24, 2011, and lessons will begin on January 31.

IUP Trumpet Studio Presents TrumpetFest 2011

TrumpetFest, an annual festival presented by the Department of Music, is scheduled for February 3-6, 2011, and will feature performances by IUP trumpet students and faculty members along with a lecture and performance by guest artist Dr. J.C. Dobrzelewski.
