Indiana NAACP Invites Community to Celebrate Juneteenth

Celebrate Juneteenth on Wednesday, June 17, from 5:00–8:00 p.m. at the pavilion in Mack Park. This year marks the 150th year of the event.

Exclusive Movie Showing of “Selma” at Selma@IUP

The African-American Cultural Center of IUP, in conjunction with Indiana County NAACP and Prince Management Group, present “Selma@IUP: A Teach-In/Panel Discussion, Connecting the Past to the Future,” with an exclusive movie screening of “Selma,” the movie, at IUP on Monday and Tuesday, March 30 and 31, 2015.

Annual Kwanzaa Holiday Celebration 2014

The annual Kwanzaa Holiday Celebration at IUP will take place on Saturday, December 6, starting at 5:00 p.m. in the HUB Ohio Room.

Ujamaa Food/Cold Weather Drive

The African American Cultural Center at IUP will collect nonperishable food and/or cold weather items December 1–10, 2014, to donate to the Salvation Army and/or a local food bank to support the less fortunate of our community.
