Distinguished Alumni Award Recipients Return To Campus, Share Experiences with Current Students

This weekend, 10 alumni return to campus to be honored with the Distinguished Alumni Award. Each award recipient will spend time Friday with IUP students, speaking to classrooms and meeting with student groups.

PEMA To Conduct After Action Review of Response to Campus Disturbances at St. Patrick’s Day Event Near Indiana University of Pennsylvania

At the request of university and county officials, the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency will conduct an After Action Review of events before, during, and after the events of March 8, also known as “IUPatty’s.”

Indiana to Host 2014 Governor’s Awards for the Arts, September 28

First Lady Susan Corbett announced that the 2014 Governor’s Awards for the Arts will be held September 28 at Fisher Auditorium of the IUP Performing Arts Center. This will be the first time the state arts event has been held on a university campus.

Representative Samuel Smith to Receive 2014 President’s Medal of Distinction from IUP

Pennsylvania House of Representatives Speaker Samuel H. Smith will receive the 2014 President’s Medal of Distinction from IUP at the Leader’s Circle of Indiana County annual awards dinner on April 10.
