What Would the Founding Fathers Think of the Presidential Campaign?

Four authors of the U.S. Constitution (Benjamin Franklin, Alexander Hamilton, James Madison, and Charles Pinckney) are coming to IUP to comment on contemporary politics and talk about their experiences writing the U.S. Constitution in 1787. “Chat with the Founders,” scheduled for 6:00–7:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 21, is part of IUP’s Constitution Day commemoration.

Most law school applications ask for a two-page personal statement, but provide little other guidance.  This workshop will provide information about what law schools are looking for in a personal statement as well as strategies to come up with ideas for a personal statement.
