Levis to Retire after 27 Years of Service

Malinda Levis will retire on October 16, after 27 years of dedicated service to IUP and our students. In her honor, the Student Affairs Division has donated $250 to the Foundation for IUP Women’s Studies Fund.

There are many ways we support students when they are adapting to their fall semester, its opportunities, and its challenges. Call upon the academic a-deans in the student’s college for guidance or other members of the Concern and Response Team (CART), who may assist you as you support students.

What Does it Mean To Be a Student-Centered University?

On September 3, colleagues in the Student Affairs division met to discuss ways to foster a student-centered university. The Division has adopted five initiatives which support the implementation of IUP’s 2015–20 Strategic Plan.

Fourth Annual IUP Professional Development Workshop Held

On March 27, 2015, nearly 140 faculty, staff, and graduate students from multiple university divisions and each of the academic colleges attended the workshop “Successful IUP Students Today and Tomorrow,” sponsored by the Division of Student Affairs and cosponsored by the Center for Teaching Excellence and Office of the Provost.
