The Office of International Education is looking for volunteer opportunities for IUP international students for the fall 2016 term, both on campus and in the community. If your office has the need for student volunteers, we would like to know about it. No job is too big or too small.

Join Us for International Lunch Hour, April 20

The Office of International Education will host its last International Lunch Hour of the semester on Wednesday, April 20, in Sutton Hall’s Blue Room from 12:00–1:15 p.m. This event is open to all faculty, staff, students, and community members.

IUP Engages in EducationUSA Sub-Saharan Regional Forum

Michele Petrucci, associate vice president for International Education and Global Engagement, and Yaw Asamoah, dean of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, participated in the U.S. Department of State’s conference dedicated to Sub-Saharan Africa and U.S. Higher Education held in Accra, Ghana.

International Women’s Day Symposium: Breaking the Silence on Violence Against Women

IUP’s Office of International Education will present its second International Women’s Day Symposium on March 17, 2016. The program will include a poster session, plus a keynote presentation by Elora Halim Chowdhury, associate professor and chair of Women’s and Gender Studies at the University of Massachusetts.
