Indiana County WalkWorks Program Kick-Off and Special Tours Schedule

Have you been looking for a fun, free and frequent way to exercise outside? This is your chance! Join the new WalkWorks walking groups in 4 different communities as they kick off their walking routes. You can also join some special tours in the county this summer, such as the Kids Walking Tour at the Historical Society with Sara Rutledge on July 10 and the Allegheny Arboretum with Jerry Pickering on August 6.

Open Invitation to WalkWorks Kick-Off Event at IRMC Park

WalkWorks, a nationally funded program, increases opportunities for physical activity through a network of fun, fact-filled, and community-based walking routes led by group leaders. IUP students, employees, and faculty are invited to the Kick-off Event on Wednesday, June 29, at 6:00 p.m. at IRMC Park.

Still Time to Register for James G. Mill Fitness Center 5K Run/Walk on Saturday: Earn 25 Healthy U Points

The James G. Mill Center for Health and Fitness in Zink Hall is hosting its sixth annual 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, April 30. The 5K is entirely on the Hoodlebug Trail. Faculty that participate in this event will receive 25 Healthy U points!
