MARTI Launches Speaker Series for Spring 2016

MARTI has launched its long-anticipated community health speaker series, “MARTI Speaker Series on Health and Disadvantaged Communities.” The series will include lectures by IUP alumna Carina Heckert and Gilberto Lopez, MPH, a doctoral student in the Harvard School of Public Health.

MARTI Announces Name Change to Reflect New Initiatives and Directions

The new name for the institute is the Mid-Atlantic Research and Training Institute for Community and Behavioral Health. The name change builds on MARTI’s regional and national reputation in the areas of addictions and domestic violence and now reflects the institute’s new initiatives and future directions.
