On Monday, May 3, 2010, students of IUP at Punxsutawney celebrated learning by proudly displaying projects representing work in their courses.
Students in Career Explorations, Humanities Literature, and General Psychology took part in the event, many creating posters to represent visually what they had learned and experienced in those courses. The celebration also included several performances by students in Humanities Literature.
Students and faculty members enjoyed refreshments while viewing the many displays and discussing their contents with the creators. Prizes were awarded for the best projects.
The event was organized by Writing Center director and English Department faculty member Lynn Shelly, along with graduate assistant Jess Haggerty.
