On Thursday, April 22, 2010, at 7:00 p.m., Dr. Ken Coles, Department of Geoscience, will present a planetarium show titled “400 Years of the Telescope.”
The show takes place in the IUP Planetarium and will cover the revolution in science that was sparked by Galileo and his telescope.
Doors open at 6:45 p.m., and the show will run about forty minutes. Weather permitting, some telescopes will be set up outside to take a look at the night sky.
Seating for the shows is on a first-come, first-seated bases. It is not feasible for us to take advance reservations.
