There may be additional locations in the community to obtain the seasonal flu shot for this flu season. (These are not the H1N1 flu shots which we hope to have available for the IUP campus in late October or early November 2009.)
These clinics are run by off-campus provider offices and do have fees involved. Students who are not able to get the vaccine at on-campus clinics may choose to go to these clinics or may find vaccine available at a family physician or other public locations. You may want to check with local pharmacies as well since many sponsor public clinics.
Many of the VNA scheduled clinics have been canceled or postponed. Check the VNA website for its latest updates.
The following clinics are still scheduled to be held (as of October 12th):
9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Call the Health Service at 724-357-2550 for further community clinic dates, times, and locations.
