IUP students and parents with questions about health insurance can connect to these links to find more information about a cost-effective, high-quality student health insurance plan recommended by the university.
While it is not a complete “HMO style” policy needed by individuals with chronic health and medication issues, Consolidated Health Plan offers an affordable student policy with coverage for accidents, injuries, and illnesses that would allow students to seek health care off campus if needed.
No insurance is necessary to seek health care on campus as part of the paid campus Wellness Fee. Many health and health-related services are available throughout the year in the Center for Health and Well-Being located in the Suites on Maple East ground floor.
