Geoscience students Ashley Hague, Tina Ritter, and Ellen Lamont presented their research at the 2009 Women in Mathematics, Science, and Technology Program on Monday, April 13.
Ashley and Tina presented their research on determining our planet’s paleoclimate using wind-blown dust from the seafloor in the equatorial Pacific. Ellen presented her work on the geologic strain in Taiwan determined from earthquake focal mechanisms.
