Dr. Ken Coles will present an informational, free planetarium show about gamma and X-ray astronomy on January 28, 2009, at 7:00 p.m.
He will talk about what these energetic forms of light are, how they are observed, and what they show us about objects in the sky. A look at the current night sky will also be part of the discussion. The show is free to the public and runs about forty minutes in length.
The shows are first come, first seated; it is not feasible for us to take advance reservations. If you want to bring a large group (i.e. ten or more people), do contact us so we can discuss how to accommodate you, as seating is limited. Contact information: 724-357-5626 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
See the IUP Planetarium website for more details about this and future shows.
