Posted on 12/1/2008 1:34:07 AM

The Department of Music at IUP is pleased to announce plans for the inaugural Keystone Music Camp. Students at the weeklong, residential camp will be under the leadership and guidance of the artist-faculty at IUP, distinguished alumni, and students.

The camp will run for two weeks. Week 1—Sunday, June 21 through Friday, June 26—will be an Orchestra and Honors Chamber Winds camp for talented string and wind players conducted by Dr. David Martynuik and Dr. Stanley Chepaitis. Week—Sunday, June 28 through Friday, July 3—will be a Senior High Band conducted by Dr. Jack Stamp.

Students will be in residence at IUP for each week or, if they live close, can choose the day camper option. Instruction, meals, and recreation are included in both options.

Applications and detailed information about each week of camp will be available on line by January 15.
