Foster Dining Hall Doing Away with Trays

Posted on 8/11/2008 8:12:06 PM

IUP Campus Dining is going GREEN!

When you arrive on campus this fall Foster Hall will no longer have trays.

IUP is joining schools like Harvard, Penn, NYU, UNC Chapel Hill, and Florida State. Trayless dining is a major step in conserving natural resources.

  • One week of trayless dining results in water savings of 2,755 gallons
  • Food waste is reduced 24 percent without trays.

Students and customers who need a tray due to a disability or injury may request a tray from the cashier.

Thank you for helping us improve the environment.
