Economics Alumna Honored at Homer-Center School District Distinguished Alumni Ceremony

Economics alumna Mileah Kromer ’03 was chosen for the inaugural Homer-Center School District Distinguished Alumni Award, which was developed in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the naming of Homer-Center High School. 

Mileah Kromer with Department of Economics faculty members James Jozefowicz and Stephanie JozefowiczA 1999 graduate of the school district, Kromer was recognized for professional achievement, service to her community, and humanitarian endeavors. She previously was awarded the Young Alumni Achievement Award by IUP in 2011.

Currently, Kromer is an associate professor of Political Science and director of the Sarah T. Hughes Field Politics Center at Goucher College in Baltimore, Maryland.
