Exciting Student Research Opportunities from the Graduate School

Spring break is almost here and time is running out to take advantage of several fantastic research opportunities from the School of Graduate Studies and Research.

  • The 2017 Undergraduate Scholars Forum takes place on Tuesday, April 4, in the HUB. Undergraduate students from across campus are invited to share their research, scholarship, and creative works. Take advantage of this great opportunity and submit a proposal today through our competition page. Deadline for submissions is 5:00 p.m. on March 10, 2017.
  • The 2017 Graduate Scholars Forum will take place on Wednesday, April 5, in the HUB.  This event is a great opportunity to share your original research, scholarly activity, or creative work. The event is open to all graduate students at IUP, and submitting a presentation has never been easier! Simply visit our competition page and submit your proposal before 5:00 p.m. on March 10, 2017, to take part in this exciting opportunity.
  • The 2017 Undergraduate Student Research Grant competition has just launched!  If you're an undergraduate student working on a research project be sure to review the guidelines and submit a proposal before 5:00 p.m. Monday, April 3.
  • Are you working on a research or creative project and find yourself in need of some funding?  The Spring 2017 Graduate Student Research Grant is still accepting submissions. Up to $1,000 is available to support your research project, creative project, thesis, or dissertation research.  Review the guidelines and submit a proposal before 5:00 p.m. on Monday, March 6.
  • The 2016-17 Graduate Student Outstanding Research Award is still accepting submissions.  Students who graduated in May, August, or December 2016 or who have finished their project and will graduate in May 2017 are eligible to apply. Review the guidelines and apply before 5:00 p.m. Monday, March 6.
