DHL’s McLaughlin ’90 visits IUP Business School

Doug McLaughlin '90 Visits IUP Business SchoolDoug McLaughlin ’90, east coast human resource manager for DHL Supply Chain, recently spoke to 200-plus students in the Eberly auditorium to discuss internships and job opportunities.

DHL has over 400,000 employees globally, and its Supply Chain Business Unit is growing significantly. They are the world’s largest logistics specialist and offer a comprehensive suite of services drawing on their global scale and local insight to deliver value across the supply chain.

DHL Supply Chain has designed custom-fit supply chain and operations solutions for hundreds of customers like Clorox, Hershey, Lego, Ford, and Goodyear, just to name a few. They will hire 200-plus graduates this year for training programs in various areas and many geographical locations.

IUP Management Department faculty member Michael Kosicek said, “Doug is an IUP alumnus and continues to return to IUP to interview and hire our students. DHL offers a great starting salary and benefits package through their management training program. Graduates in the recent past have performed well and have been promoted at DHL.”
