Tom Simmons, vector and disease ecologist in the IUP Department of Biology, was invited to participate in the University of Pittsburgh’s Pymatuning Laboratory of Ecology Seminar Series on June 4 in Linesville, Pa. The title of his research presentation was “The Indestructible Blacklegged Tick and Pathogens: Lessons from Western Pennsylvania.”
The talk was attended by undergraduate students from Lehigh University, University of Pittsburgh, Clarion University, Edinboro University, and Slippery Rock University, as well as faculty from Lehigh University, University of Pittsburgh, Edinboro University, and Slippery Rock University.
