Matthew Ferchalk and JoAnna Cogan-Ferchalk, alumni of the Department of Educational and School Psychology, will receive Outstanding Graduate Student Research Awards
at the 20th annual Awards Luncheon on March 31, 2014. The Awards Luncheon is part of Research Appreciation Week at IUP.
As part of this award, Ferchalk and Cogan-Ferchalk will each receive a check for $100 in recognition of their achievement.
Ferchalk’s research project, “Test Nationally, Benchmark Locally: Using Local DIBELS Benchmarks to Predict Performance on the PSSA,” was chosen to receive the Outstanding Graduate Student Research Award.
In addition, Cogan-Ferchalk is being honored for her research project, “The Utility of the Modified Checklisht for Autism in Toddlers in a Preschool-Age Special Education Sample.”
