Do you find yourself cramped and stressed after sitting at a desk too long? March’s Lunch and Learn will teach some ways to alleviate this discomfort through yoga. Join us this Friday, March 7, 2014, at 12:30 p.m. for “Yoga in Your Chair” in 218 Eicher Hall.
Composition and TESOL doctoral candidate Rachel Griffo (left) will explore the advantages of including physical movement in your daily office routine. More importantly, she’ll demonstrate some yoga techniques and teach a handful of helpful yoga movements that can be done at a desk when working on assignments for extended periods of time.
Friday’s event will be a presentation and discussion, so students and faculty are encouraged to come with questions or writing. Attendees are also welcome to bring a lunch to eat in the Writing Center during the discussion.
