Feminist Friday is a time to dine
and discuss campus feminist issues. On Friday, February 28, join SAGE
(Students Advocating Gender Equality) for an informal discussion on
intersectional feminism. Faculty, staff, and students are welcome to attend,
regardless of gender identity.
“While ‘intersectional feminism’
seems like a big, scary phrase, it just means considering everyone in the fight
for equality.” — Melissa King, copresident of SAGE
This event is hosted by Women’s
Programs, a part of the Center for Health and
Well-Being and the President’s Commission On the Status
mission of SAGE is to promote an
egalitarian way of life and to raise awareness about gender inequity in our
society. Membership in SAGE is open to all members of the IUP community.
