IUP is proud to recognize women students who possess strong academic achievement, participate in cocurricular activity and/or community service, and demonstrate leadership skills.
Two undergraduate students (freshmen, sophomore, and junior) have the opportunity to receive a scholarship to attend the 26th annual PASSHE Undergraduate Women’s Leadership Institute.
Student participant cost is provided by the President’s Commission on the Status of Women and the Center for Student Life. These costs include lodging, meals, and educational materials. Participants are responsible for transportation to and from the
institute, as well as personal expenses incurred during the week.
