On behalf of the Department of Nursing and Allied Health Professions, we are happy to report a 95.35 percent pass rate for first-time test takers of the NCLEX-RN examination for most recent reporting period of 10/1/2012 to 9/30/2013.
There were 129 IUP Nursing graduates, with 123 passing on their first attempt.
The NCLEX-RN examination measures the knowledge needed to practice safely and effectively as newly licensed, entry-level nurses. Passing the exam demonstrates their competency to launch careers as nursing professionals. Congratulations to the nursing students, faculty, and staff on this great accomplishment!
