Have you ever wondered what it would be like if you could sit down and have a chat with our founding fathers? What types of questions would you ask them about the Constitution and contemporary issues? Well, here's your chance. Join us for the Six O’Clock Series event titled “Just what did they originally intend? A casual conversation with the framers of the U.S. Constitution.”
The program will take place on Monday, September 16, from 6:00–7:30 p.m. in the HUB Ohio Room.
Moderated by Gwen Torges, the panel, made up of faculty members from the History and Political Science departments, will answer questions regarding many topics. If you are curious what they had in mind when they wrote the Constitution or what they would think about issues today, you will have the chance to ask. All are welcome to join Ben Franklin, James Madison, Alexander Hamilton, and Charles Pinckney this Monday to find out all of these answers and more. Attendance vouchers will be handed out if needed.
