All university residential facilities will be closed and locked with I-Card access systems deactivated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 15.
Graduating seniors participating in Commencement activities will be permitted to stay until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 15. Graduating seniors must contact their residence director in their hall office by Wednesday, December 12, to make arrangements to stay until 4:00 p.m. on December 15.
Continuing students may return to their rooms on Sunday, January 27, beginning at 8:00 a.m.
Students are not permitted in the residence halls during the semester break period.
NOTE: Wallwork and University Towers will be available for break housing residency ONLY for students who meet specific criteria.
RESIDENCE HALL CLOSING
****The university cannot be responsible for theft or damage to any items left in student rooms during semester break. Students are urged to make special provisions for the security of valuable items. As a reminder, it is advisable for all residents to have personal property insurance.
****Residents are advised that any necessary maintenance and/or custodial services will continue to be performed during semester break.
****All residential buildings will reopen for returning students beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, January 27, 2013. I-Card access systems will be reactivated at that time.
****For information on semester break housing, please contact the Office of Housing, Residential Living & Dining at 357-2696 no later than 4:00 p.m. Friday, December 7.
