Today, November 30, 2012, is the last day to donate to Trees for Troops at Kovalchick Complex! Your donation of $25 will purchase one six-foot Christmas tree for a military base.
Since 2005, Trees for Troops has provided 103,186 Christmas trees to military families and troops in the United States and overseas. Each year, thousands of Christmas trees are donated by American farm families and the public, and FedEx delivers these trees to more than 60 military bases. During the seven years of the program, FedEx and its employees have logged more than 352,011 over-the-road miles, plus countless air miles and employee hours for the Trees for Troops program.
Donations to Trees for Troops can be made at the Kovalchick Complex Box Office as part of KCAC Kares or by calling Fleming’s Christmas Tree Farms at 724-463-0570 through December 1, 2012. Only cash will be accepted at Kovalchick Complex.
Come and enjoy many activities at the Indiana location of Fleming’s Tree Farms on December 1, 2012, for Trees for Troops Day. You will be able to purchase a tree individually, or contribute to the purchase of a tree. There will be activities for all ages.
