All university residential facilities, with the exception of Wallwork Hall and University Towers, will be closed and locked with I-Card access systems deactivated from 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 17 through noon on Sunday, November 25, 2012. Students are not permitted in the residence halls during the break period.
Note: Wallwork Hall and University Towers will be available only for students who have applied for and been assigned to break housing residency.
The university cannot be responsible for theft or damage to any items left in student rooms during the break period. Students are urged to make special provisions for the security of valuable items. As a reminder, it is advisable for all residents to have personal property insurance.
Residents are advised that any necessary maintenance and/or custodial services will continue to be performed during the break period.
All residential buildings will reopen beginning at noon on Sunday, November 25. I-Card access systems will be reactivated at that time. No residential building will open for any reason prior to noon on Sunday, November 25.
For information on break housing, please contact the Office of Housing, Residential Living, and Dining at 357-2696. The deadline to apply for break housing is Monday, November 5, 2012.
