Professor Thomas Gerber, Department of Geoscience, served as a delegate to the fifth meeting of Young Researchers in Earth Science (MYRES V), held August 8–12, 2012, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Professor Gerber presented his work on “Modeling Seascape Evolution on Clastic Continental Slopes.”
MYRES is a community building effort for young Earth scientists that is centered on a biannual meeting. This year’s meeting addressed “The Sedimentary Record of Landscape Dynamics” and was sponsored by the National Science Foundation and the Society for Sedimentary Geology.
