A visit to New York City by the Student Marketing Association brought insight to the students and fun.
The April 13–14, 2012, trip was taken by 23 SMA members and included a tour of the Uproar Youth Marketing firm, which handles promotions and commercials for children’s toys, candy, and games. SMA toured the facility and prepared a marketing program using clips from the company.
“With the hard work and participation of all our members and Eberly’s assistance,” said Kelly Welde,” SMA had a trip of a lifetime with marketing insights and memories that will last forever.”
The second day of the trip featured a tour of the September 11 Memorial. During their tour, they listened to their tour guide speak on marketing memorials. Following the tour, the group went sightseeing and shopped.
