The Eli Young Band took home the first award of the evening at the Academy of Country Music Awards show, scoring Song of the Year for “Crazy Girl.” The quartet beat out country heavyweights, including Lady Antebellum and Kenny Chesney.
“I have dreamed this moment my whole life, and I can speak for the rest of the guys up here that they have, too,” lead singer Mike Eli told the crowd.
The Eli Young Band will perform live at Kovalchick Complex on May 5 prior to headliner and friend Dierks Bentley.
Tickets to Dierks Bentley with special guests Eli Young Band and Will Hoge are priced at $25 and $35, and are on sale now! Ticket prices include a $2 facility fee, and they may be purchased online at Comcast TIX, by dialing 800-298-4200, or at the Kovalchick Complex Box Office. (There are plenty of tickets still available for this concert.)
