Graduate Student Weiss Presents at Student Affairs Technology Conference

Christopher Weiss, graduate student in the Student Affairs in Higher Education program, presented at the inaugural student affairs technology conference, #NASPATECH, in Newport, R.I., October 27–29, 2011.

Weiss received a travel grant from IUP's School of Graduate Studies and Research to present two sessions: “’Wanna Connect?’ Using Socially Interactive Technologies in Paraprossional Staff Training” and “Is There a Negative Relationship Between Social Media Use and Involvement?”

#NASPAtech provided innovative and high-tech educational sessions focusing on various technologies and their applications in working successfully with college and university students.
