On September 29, Pittsburgh native Wiz Khalifa, with special guest Wale, takes the stage in front of the first sold-out crowd, with over 4,000 tickets.
“This event is the perfect kick-off to Homecoming Weekend here at IUP,” said Zach Clark, director of Student Activities and Assessment for IUP. “This is an amazing artist, and the community response has been outstanding!”
Former Hootie and the Blowfish frontman Darius Rucker, with special guests Rodney Atkins and Frankie Ballard, appears on Friday, October 7, at 7:30 p.m. Three country music all-stars will rock the stage and mix the night with blues, country-rock, and American pride. Student tickets are only $25 and are still available.
October 22 marks the unique event of Dinner and Dueling Pianos, which will be held in the Toretti Auditorium at Kovalchick Complex. Dueling Pianos Internationalis a high-energy, all-request, sing along, clap along, rock’n’roll, comedy show where the audience is just as much a part of the show as the entertainers. Tickets to the show are $12; however, the grouped price includes a deluxe menu, beverage of choice, and show ticket for only $30.
Christmas classic Mannheim Steamroller comes to Indiana on November 17 for a night of holiday tradition. Mannheim Steamroller is an American music group founded by Chip Davis, known primarily for its modern recordings of Christmas music. A Grammy Award winner and the mastermind behind the group, Chip Davis directs and co-produces the tour. The show will feature the favorite Christmas music of Mannheim Steamroller along with state-of-the-art multimedia effects in an intimate setting. The tour will have one performance in Indiana and is their only appearance scheduled in Western Pennsylvania.
The amazing world of Disney magic skates through Indiana on December 1–4 with Disney On Ice presents “Mickey and Minnie’s Magical Journey.” Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy have their bags all packed for a journey that will transport audiences straight from their seats into the magical worlds of best friends Lilo and Stitch as they hula in Hawaii; with Simba and Nala as they explore the African Pride Lands; with Ariel and Sebastian as they experience an aquatic adventure in their undersea kingdom; and with Peter Pan and Tinker Bell as they soar through the starry skies of London.

Besides the Legendary Bigfoot, fans can expect to see Tailgator, Razin’ Kane, Big Dawg, and the thirty-seven-thousand-pound fire-breathing, car-eating, transforming dinosaur robot named Transaurus.
